Recognised as the world’s most influential wine competition, the International Wine Challenge reached out to create a visual identity that celebrated their 40th edition.


I used the earthy textures and dramatic lighting to create a collage style landscape. As a link to the wine theme, the colour palette uses reds and purples, and I added flowing liquid shapes to strengthen the concept.


The “40th” element was important for them to highlight: to incorporate it into the design, I added swirling paint strokes and tied the “0” into a swirl.
